Plant Nursery Logo

Being tasked with making a logo for a small business, research about what the owner wanted had to be done. A conversation was held for quite a while trying to talk through what the owner liked and wanted from the logo and the possible uses of it such as labels and social media purposes. The owner was a very happy and kind individual with a sunny and colorful personality who wanted that to be shown through her logo.

When the second meeting was held to go over potential logo designs, she was given three styles of sketches, done in Procreate, to choose from which could be mixed and matched if she so chose. The owner went with one of the three sketches to move forward with, which was the more illustrated design out of all of them. The logo illustration chosen was of a potted plant with various types of colorful flowers coming out of the top and the words sepparating the bottom from the top.

The sketch done in Procreate was then taken over into illustrator where a vector image was created for the logo. The circular logo could then fit into a facebook or Instagram profile picture and as a round sticker design to be put on the products.
